Gravity / Sand casting Alloys

MRI 201S and MRI 202S are sand/gravity casting alloys designed for highly stressed components operating at temperatures up to 300o C.

These new alloys in the T6 conditions exhibit excellent mechanical properties and creep resistance combined with outstanding capability, pressure tightness, weldability, dimension stability and corrosion resistance.

The alloys are designed for high temperature applications in automotive and aerospace industries such as large engine block, cylinder head cover, helicopter gearbox housings etc.
